What is ImPACT Testing?

ImPACT Applications, Inc. is the maker of ImPACT® (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing), is one tool that we use to gain more information about your concussion, if you were to sustain an head injury. This product is used by more than 7,400 high schools, 1,000 colleges and universities, 900 clinical centers, 475 Credentialed ImPACT Consultants, 200 professional teams, and our military, and is recognized internationally as a helpful tool to assist in managing concussions.

Concussion Prevention

There are many things that can reduce the risk for sustaining a concussion. Technique, core strength, proprioception training, and education can all decrease your risk for sustaining a concussion.

First Steps: if you suspect a concussion

Concussion Treatment

Treatment varies from patient to patient due to the nature of injury. Each concussion is managed on an individual case by case basis. The brain is very complex and a full recovery is critical reducing risk for injury in the lower extremity and reducing risk for second impact syndrome.
